We told you earlier this week about how much Millennials rely on the Bank of Mom and Dad for basic life expenses. Well, it turns out the financial help doesn’t stop after they get married and have kids. According to research, 20% of Millennials received financial assistance from their parents when purchasing a home, and a whopping 94% of grandparents in the U.S. help with the cost of raising their grandkids. A survey by the AARP found that each year, grandparents spend a total of $179 billion on their grandkids -- an average of $2,652 per grandparent. 21% of grandparents help with their grandkids’ college tuition, 14% help with everyday expenses like groceries, 8% give their grandkids an allowance, and 5% help with major expenses like housing and medical costs. Does your pet affect your sex life? Short answer: Yes. A survey by Pet Life Today found that 31% percent of people dating dog owners and 26% of people dating cat owners said that their partner's pet has interfered with intimacy – both physical and emotional. 40% said they felt in competition with their significant other’s pet. What kind of competition? 22% said it was over attention, 19% said it was over affection, and 17% said they competed for love. (Pop Sugar)

Breakup Redo… You’ve heard of women getting makeovers after a breakup, but have you ever heard of re-decorating after a breakup? According to ET, that’s exactly what Khloe Kardashian is doing. For the past 6 months she has been renting a place in Los Angeles while the Calabasas home she shared briefly with Tristan Thompson is being remodeled. Hey, if you can afford it, it makes sense. You don’t want to have reminders of your ex all over your house -- especially your bedroom. (Cosmo)

#KuToo… Japanese women are protesting the policy of women having to wear high heels in the workplace with the #KuToo movement. KuTu – which references the #MeToo movement -- is a play on the Japanese words kutsu, which means shoes, and kutsuu, which means pain. Some 20,000 Japanese women signed an online petition and submitted it to the government’s Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare, asking for laws that stop employers from forcing women to wear high heels at work – which they call sexual discrimination and harassment. In other news… A massive ladybug swarm is moving across California. Meteorologists saw what appeared to be a large storm cloud hovering over San Diego County earlier this week. Turns out the cloud was a swarm of ladybugs. The cloud, termed a “bloom,” is estimated to be about 80 miles by 80 miles. The ladybugs were flying somewhere between 5,000 to 9,000 feet in the air. AMAZON DRONES COULD BE MAKING DELIVERIES IN NEXT FEW MONTHS

While it still seems futuristic, bosses at Amazon say self-piloted drones could be delivering packages to homes in just a few months.

The fully electric drones use computer vision and machine learning to avoid people and other obstacles when landing. For now, the drones can supposedly fly up to 15 miles, deliver in 30 minutes and carry stuff that weighs up to five pounds. (The Star)

TOPIC: How Picky Are You When Ordering Food?

According to some number-crunchers at Uber Eats, here’s a rundown of the most popular delivery requests in the U.S....

  • extra sauce
  • spicy
  • dressing on the side
  • no tomatoes
  • extra cheese
  • no sour cream
  • no cheese
  • extra ranch
  • ketchup

When you’re ordering food, how picky are you? How many special requests do you make?

Are you able to just enjoy the food as-is? Or … Does it have to be made your way?

Do you have any unusual or trivial food requests?

Are there any requests that you feel strongly about? That are total dealbreakers? If the food is prepared wrong, will you send it back and have them remake it?

TOILET PAPER ROLL DESIGNED FOR MILLENNIALS LASTS THREE MONTHS

Charmin has created a giant toilet paper roll for that lasts up to three months.

The idea was to develop the Charmin Forever Roll for Millennials who live alone and have limited storage space.

The Forever Roll even comes with its own hardware. A “starter kit” features brushed stainless steel roll holders that are either free-standing or wall-mounted. (Business Insider)

STORM CHASERS ARE CAUSING PROBLEMS

Scientists say that storm chasers are out of control and causing problems.

It seems there are more people than ever driving in the middle of storms just to be a part of them.

And, it’s gotten to the point where they’re getting in the way of scientists doing research -- and actually making it dangerous with their high-speed, reckless driving. (Fox News)

And now... even more stuff for you this morning which you may hear me talking about on an @iHeartRadio-enabled device near you...
