Cardi B and Offset have officially been married for one year. To celebrate the momentous occasion, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper shared a never-before-seen photo from their secret wedding to Instagram on Thursday (September 20).

“TBT …September 20th,” Cardi captioned a photo of the two as they faced each other holding hands with their heads bowed. The picture also showed their wedding officiant, who was just one of the two other people present for the ceremony — Cardi's cousin was the other.

As previously reported, the couple was able to keep their marriage a secret for nearly nine months. It wasn't until Offset called Cardi his wife while accepting the award for Best Group at the BET Awards in June that sparked marriage rumors. Hours after his proclamation, TMZ broke the news that the supposedly engaged couple was, in fact, already married. The site obtained their marriage certificate, which showed that the couple wed on September 20, 2017, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Cardi later confirmed the news on Twitter. "There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself. Getting married was one of those moments," she wrote. "Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love we didn't want to lose each other."

"One morning in September we woke up and decided to get married," Cardi continued, before revealing details about their private ceremony. "We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said I do, with no dress and no make up and no ring!

Offset famously proposed to Cardi onstage in October 2017 (a month after their secret wedding) during Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia. The "I Like It" rapper explained in her tweet that the post-wedding engagement was because Offset still wanted "me to have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on one knee and put a ring on my finger and he did that for me!!"

Cardi and Offset welcomed their first child together — Offset's fourth — in July.
