Snow Days in Pickens County will be forgiven. This word just came down from the School board:
Last night, the Pickens County school board voted to forgive two inclement weather days from last week.Forgiveness applies to students and employees.
The School District of Pickens County closed on January 17 and 18, which were the fourth and fifth days the district missed this year.
SDPC will be making up the first three inclement weather days—September 11, September 12, and January 8—on March 16, March 30, and April 30. By state law, local school boards may forgive the fourth, fifth, and sixth days missed so that students do not have to attend another make-up day, but students must make up the first three days missed.
