Here's you hero for the day. A Ferris wheel at a carnival in Greensboro, North Carolina malfunctioned last Friday, and one of the Ferris wheel cars tipped over. It was hanging sideways . . . with two little KIDS inside. A 7-year-old boy and a 5-year-old boy had to hang on so they didn't fall out. It looks like they were about 20 feet off the ground. They could have been seriously injured.
A 25-year-old carnival worker named Albert Irwin started CLIMBING the Ferris wheel to save them.
When he got to them, he tried to keep them calm, and managed to free their gondola. It swung back into position.
Unfortunately, he fell right after he got it free. Thankfully, he only broke his finger. Watch how it all went down!
